Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Market Engagement Specialist with at least 1 year of relevant experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for directly engaging with potential customers, promoting our services, and driving lead generation through face-to-face interactions. You will play a key role in raising brand awareness and meeting sales targets through on-the-ground marketing activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to potential local customers through cold calling, social media, and in-person visits, while maintaining a database of leads and prospects.
- Contact potential clients to schedule appointments for the Business Manager and CEO, confirming details and ensuring clear communication.
- Maintain and update CRM or spreadsheet records with accurate lead and appointment information.
- Establish strong relationships with local businesses and community leaders by attending networking events and trade shows to promote the company.
- Follow up with leads to maintain interest and advance them through the sales funnel, sending reminders to reduce no-show rates.
- Track and report on local marketing campaign success, lead generation, and appointment-setting activities, providing updates to management.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager to ensure smooth lead handover and refine strategies based on local market feedback.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns during the appointment-setting process.
- Increase local brand visibility by representing the company professionally and engaging with potential customers at public events and community gatherings.
- Support the sales team with lead generation through direct interactions, execute promotional activities, and collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective outdoor campaigns.
- Track and report daily marketing activities, client engagements, and leads generated, while staying informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in outdoor marketing, field marketing, or direct sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM systems and data management is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and building relationships.
- Proficiency in marketing strategies, lead generation, and appointment scheduling.
- Familiarity with CRM software and spreadsheet tools like Excel and Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of local advertising platforms and marketing tactics.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple campaigns, leads, and appointments.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying motivated toward goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills for handling challenges in lead generation and appointment setting.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage a busy schedule.
- Familiarity with the local market, including key businesses and community leaders.
