Job Description:
Soft Enterprise is looking for a motivated HR Associate to support the day-to-day running of our Human Resources function. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, and engagement activities. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who wants structured mentorship, clear processes, and real exposure to every area of HR within a growing software house.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures under the guidance of the HR Manager.
- Support recruitment activities — posting jobs, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
- Help coordinate on-boarding and orientation for new joiners, including documentation and workstation setup.
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
- Assist with attendance tracking, leave records, and payroll input preparation.
- Support the performance evaluation cycle by collecting forms, tracking timelines, and organising feedback records.
- Help prepare HR letters and documents such as offer letters, experience letters, and internal memos.
- Provide first-level support to employees on HR queries and escalate matters to the HR Manager where needed.
- Assist in organising employee engagement activities, training sessions, and internal events.
- Support office administration tasks, including petty cash records, stationery, and vendor coordination.
- Help ensure HR documentation remains compliant with company policy and applicable labour regulations.
- Compile basic HR data and reports to support the HR Manager in decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an HR, recruitment, or administrative support role (internship experience is acceptable).
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfort with learning HR software.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
- A cooperative attitude and willingness to learn — full training and support will be provided.
