Job Responsibilities:
As an HR Intern, your key duties will include:

  • Assisting with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Supporting the on-boarding process for new hires, including documentation and orientation.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in the HR system.
  • Coordinating employee engagement activities and internal events.
  • Drafting HR policies, handbooks, and official communications.
  • Supporting performance management and feedback tracking processes.
  • Conducting research on HR best practices and preparing reports.
  • Monitoring and managing office inventories (e.g., supplies, stationery).
  • Tracking and maintaining petty cash expenses with accurate documentation.
  • Assisting with payroll processing by verifying attendance, calculating wages, and helping prepare payroll reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll-related documentation and labour laws.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Familiarity with payroll processes or accounting basics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic finance or inventory tracking is a plus.
  • A proactive, responsible, and eager-to-learn attitude.
