Job Description:

Soft Enterprise is looking for an organized, efficient, and proactive Human Resource Assistant to support our HR department in daily operations. This role will involve assisting with recruitment processes, employee on-boarding, payroll processing, maintaining HR records, managing inventories and petty cash, and supporting overall HR operations. The HR Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring smooth HR functions and employee satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

As an HR Assistant, your key duties will include:

  • Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and applicant coordination.
  • Support employee onboarding, orientation, and documentation processes.
  • Maintain attendance, leave, overtime, and employee database records accurately.
  • Assist in payroll processing by collecting and verifying attendance, leave, overtime, and other salary-related information.
  • Prepare payroll summaries and coordinate with management regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Handle petty cash records and maintain expense logs.
  • Prepare HR reports, employment letters, notices, certificates, and other administrative documents.
  • Coordinate with employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage office administrative tasks, including record keeping, filing and inventory tracking.
  • Respond to employee queries and provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Assist in performance management, employee engagement, and training-related activities.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information, payroll records, and company documents.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and maintain accurate personnel records.
  • Support management with HR, payroll, administrative, and operational tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or Administration.
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, attendance, and leave management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to maintain employee records and handle confidential information.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR policies, labor laws, and HR documentation.
  • Experience with HRMS software is a plus.
  • Ability to manage petty cash and general administrative tasks.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a professional attitude and willingness to learn.
