Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated SEO Specialist Intern to join our on-site Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO, keyword research, and search engine behavior. You will assist senior team members in optimizing website content, improving organic visibility, and supporting traffic growth. This 3-month internship offers hands-on SEO experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to learn digital marketing skills with potential for full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in keyword research and identify basic search terms for content optimization.
- Support on-page SEO tasks such as meta tags, headings, image alt text, and URL optimization.
- Help conduct website audits to identify technical SEO issues.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly blog posts and website content.
- Support link-building activities such as outreach and listing submissions.
- Perform competitor research to understand ranking strategies.
- Track daily/weekly keyword rankings and prepare simple reports.
- Collaborate with senior SEO team members to learn best practices and tools.
- Stay updated with basic SEO trends, Google updates, and industry standards.
Job Requirements:
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and how search engines work.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics & Google Search Console (even at beginner level).
- Ability to perform simple keyword research and competitor checks.
- Basic knowledge of on-page SEO elements such as meta tags and headings.
- Strong interest in digital marketing and willingness to learn SEO tools & techniques.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and writing skills for SEO-friendly content.
- Familiarity with WordPress or any CMS is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with the team.
