Job Description:
Soft Enterprise is seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Senior QA Engineer to lead the quality assurance efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining test strategies, mentoring junior QA engineers, implementing automation frameworks, and ensuring the highest quality of our web and mobile applications.
You will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to drive QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Lead and manage end-to-end manual and automated testing for web and mobile platforms.
- Set up and maintain automation test environments using tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or Cypress.
- Define QA processes and best practices to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct regression, integration, performance, load, and security testing as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and identify risks or inconsistencies early in the development process.
- Act as a mentor to junior QA team members, providing guidance and code reviews.
- Own and manage bug tracking systems and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Provide input in release planning, risk assessment, and go/no-go decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in a QA role with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with QA tools such as Selenium WebDriver, JIRA, Postman, JMeter, Cypress, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and test automation frameworks.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
