Job Description:
Soft Enterprise is looking for a proactive, energetic Business Development Intern to join our team. As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in assisting the business development team in expanding the company’s client base and improving its market presence. You will help with lead generation, market research, handling freelancing profiles, and supporting bids and client interactions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development and freelancing platforms while learning from seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and clients.
- Assist in generating leads through various channels such as email, social media, and freelancing platforms.
- Help create proposals and presentations to pitch to potential clients.
- Manage and update all freelancing profiles (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, etc.) to attract new business.
- Assist with creating and responding to bids on freelancing platforms.
- Communicate with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and present appropriate solutions.
- Help with negotiating terms and closing deals under the guidance of the senior business development team.
- Assist in managing client accounts and nurturing relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
- Track and report on business development performance and results.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and project management, to align business development efforts with company objectives.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions to improve business development skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, etc.) is a plus.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
- Basic understanding of business development principles.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
